Sometimes simplicity is best!

You will need:

 

1 pint dates

1 tube almond paste

  1. With a paring knife, cut a slit down the side of each date to remove the pit.
  2. Stuff each with a small spoonful of almond paste. Voila!

TIP:

You could substitute marzipan for the almond paste if you like.
